Houseboats and cabins are often shared by 5 to 12 owners, and nobody remembers to write down the two bandages they used. The Beacon Season Refresh solves that: once a year, every everyday supply in your kit is replaced automatically, so your kit starts every season full and in date.

How it works

  1. Every spring, we ship four fresh pouches: Bandage, Environmental, Ortho, and Meds. These hold the items that get used most and expire.
  2. Whoever opens the boat first swaps them in. It takes about 5 minutes. No inventory, no counting, no log sheets.
  3. Check two seals. The Tools and Trauma pouches are sealed. If a seal is intact, nothing was used. If it's broken, order that one pouch.
  4. That's it. Your kit is complete, your medications are in date, and your group is ready for another season.

What gets refreshed and what gets sealed

  • Blue Environmental pouch: blankets, hot/cold packs, eye wash, PPE
  • Yellow Ortho pouch: splints, wraps, tape
  • Gray Meds pouch: pain relievers, ointments, electrolytes
Sealed, replaced only if opened
  • Gray Tools pouch: shears, hemostat, thermometer, penlight
  • Red Trauma pouch (PRO): tourniquet, QuikClot, chest seals
  • Fresh numbered seals come with every Season Refresh

Questions

Who should order it?

Usually the group's treasurer or the owner who handles maintenance. One order per Beacon Kit. We'll send a reminder each winter when it's time to renew.

When does it ship?

Season Refresh orders ship in early spring, before boating season. If you order during the season, we ship right away.

What do we do with the old supplies?

Keep any unused, in-date items as extras on board, and dispose of expired medications properly.

What if something in the Tools or Trauma pouch was used?

You'll know because the seal is broken. Order a Tools Pouch Restock or Trauma Pouch Restock, and we'll ship it with a new seal.
